My dad subscribed to National Lampoon and one of my brothers and I read it. We loved the "Family Vacation" piece, which was even more monsterously funny than the movie was (and the movie was pretty damned funny.)

I remember when I was in college, my parents calling me, still laughing, asking if I'd seen "Vacation." They were laughing because of the part where Clark Griswold melted down when he discovered that Walley World was closed. That was my father during family vacations, except that it wasn't just a moment or two-- he was that way on the whole vacation. I guess being stuck in a station wagon with three little boys who fought constantly was not his idea of relaxation.Johnny Yenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06561248220244037567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13754190.post-62244307783115561622009-08-10T11:49:40.135-04:002009-08-10T11:49:40.135-04:00He was a geniusHe was a geniusVinny "Bond" Marinihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07033455144526676371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13754190.post-28904049835894984282009-08-09T08:21:17.060-04:002009-08-09T08:21:17.060-04:00Saw Ferris Bueller many times back in the days whe...Saw Ferris Bueller many times back in the days when I got free HBO.

I didn't know much about Hughes, but I knew many of his movies.cubehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13788126579896276199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13754190.post-74187591666585779082009-08-08T13:27:21.815-04:002009-08-08T13:27:21.815-04:00YESSSSSSSSSSS.
