Dr. Feelgood Coulda Used More Cowbell

I hope my Vince Neil-lovin' best friend is reading this. Turns out that the Behind The Music installment about Motley Crue was just hilariously horrific enough that a little one-hour cable doc just won't do. There is now a feature film in the works, based on the Crue biography, The Dirt: Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band.

While Neil, Nikki, Tommy and Mick will reportedly be played by unknown actors, the plan is for several big stars to make rockin' cameos. Val Kilmer is slated to appear as Diamond David Lee Roth and, in a truly inspired bit of casting, Ozzy Osbourne will be played by Christopher Walken. I will pay $10 to witness that alone. Although, to really get my money's worth I hope there is a scene dedicated to the famous ant-snorting incident.

It will be interesting to see who all of the cameos are. Here are a few suggestions from me:

Jon Bon Jovi - Thomas Jane
Richie Sambora - Charlie Sheen (c'mon, that's funny!)
Doc McGhee - Jason Alexander or Paul Giamatti
Sebastian Bach - Brad Pitt
Axl Rose - Brad Renfro or Peter Sarsgaard
Pamela Anderson - Herself (or Jenny McCarthy, since Pam did a Jenny impression on SNL)

Feel free to make your own cast wishlist.

Gotta have Peter Sarsgaard. Gotta. And since I still haven't quite gotten over Val Kilmer, even though he's going all "pudgy", he would do a great David Lee Roth. Yes he would. Make it happen, Beck.

I keep checking the calendar, but it's not April 1st...

Well this is one movie I'll have to see just to watch my boyfriend portray DLR.

Your casting is perfect - Charlie as Richie, gotta love it!

Christopher Walken is one of my favorite actors. I, too, would pay $10 just to see him as Ozzy.

Although I'm not sure how movie-worthy MC are, I think this is going to be quite amusing.
