Forgotten Classic Video of the Week

Talk about "forgotten!" I almost forgot to post a video this week.

Here's one I've been saving up that really doesn't need a lot of set-up. My sister had this 45, and I nearly died laughing the first time I ever heard this song. If you've never heard it, you're in for a treat. Feast your eyes and ears on "Crazy Horses" by that heavy-metal supergroup, The Osmonds.

Shows they have a sense of humor! (or not)

Crazy Mormons. If they had done more of that I think I would have listened more. But didn't their voices sound too bubble-gummy for that song?

It was like watching Carrie Underwood sing Enter Sandman.

**steps up to the podium, clears throat**

I was, am, and will forever be an Osmond fan.

**steps down**
Those are some bad-ass mormons! It's the devil's music is what it is.

Did you say your sister had the 45? And you're still related to her?

SCARY!

I have something at my blog you can feast your eyes on baby. Snort.

Crazy horses indeed. That's a lot of teeth.

Grant - He's not just a fan club member, he's the president.

M@ - Actually, I don't think they meant for this to be funny! If you listen to the lyrics, it sounds like it might be about air pollution.

Edge - I, for one, would love to hear Carrie's take on "Enter Sandman."

Travis - So I guess you have this 45 too, eh?

Barbara - My sis liked John Travolta when she was younger too, so her taste isn't all bad.

Bluez - My thoughts exactly.

Guv - And their guitars really sound like horses!! Awesome!!

OH yes...and for anyone that wants to know, that's Donny smokin' up the keyboards, Jay on drums and the guitars are (from left to right) Alan, Merrill and Wayne. They were ahead of their time!

Wow - my brother was a big Osmonds fan (denies it now of course) - but I never knew they went this low...

Thank you dearly for the cheese. This almost bordered on a break-out moment for them, but it just wasn't to be.

Maybe it's about those crazy horsemen of the apocalypse?
