Forgotten Classic Video of the Week

Well people, this week's video is finally worthy of one of your favorite stock comments, "There is a reason some of these videos are forgotten," or some variation of that sentiment. I give you Dino, with his Top 10 hit from 1989, "I Like It."

I have no further knowledge to share about this guy because I really don't care. All I know is, whatever ad agency came up with the Geico cavemen should probably be paying Dino royalties because they totally stole his look.

Man, I haven't thought of this guy in years. It was music like this that led to alternative rock taking over the charts. It was somewhat catchy though.

I am very upset with you for bringing back these awful memories. This guy had some serious girls' Mall Hair.
I have the cassingle for his other hit, "Romeo," because it makes me laugh every single time. I found the album for a quarter, and it comes with a full fold-out poster of Dino, replete with that hair. Oh, god, that hair.

Still, I also like walking in the park and kissing in the dark, 'cuz that's the things I like to do when I'm with you.

King of the Cheeseballs.
Those Geico cavemen should have stolen his jacket too. They'd be beating off the women with a stick.

Jeez, Dino, Stevie B, Expose, and Company B? I can admit that I actually danced to this and dang if this doesn't make me want to buy a pair of Cavariccis.

"Summergirls," the cheesiest lyrics ever, but damn if I don't hum it, come every June.

I seem to have the 45 for every one of your Forgotten Videos. I like when you bring back these memories!

I never knew this song had a video. I also recall his second hit, "Romeo," featuring Dr. Ice, and his third hit, a remake of "Ooh Child" that charted in 1993.

If only I could get paid for having all this useless knowledge...
