Puppy Bowl Pre-Game! (It's About To Get Super Girly Up In Here.)

I know that most of you are looking forward to tonight's CBS Special, Big Doofus Manning: Men in Tights, but there is actually something much more important going on today (especially if your team, like mine, will be watching the Super Bowl from home). The blessed event? PUPPY BOWL VI. If you don't watch and love Puppy Bowl, you're the reincarnation of Hitler. That's just a fact.

For those of you who aren't housing the tortured, damned souls of horrible dictators inside your empty shells, say hello to this year's Puppy Bowl starting lineup!

(Row 1: Addison, Bandit, Bandit the Husky, Bear and Blaze. Row 2: Carson, Chamomile, Coco, Dixon and Duncan. Row 3: Eenu, Fava, Garbanzo, Jake and Jersey Boy. Row 4: jumby, Kiva, Mason, Naomi and Nutmeg. Row 5: Rigley, Royal, Sage, Savannah and Sir Winston. Row 6: Tater Tot, Tipsy, Toby, Tonka and Yums. Not pictured: Chloe.)

Hopefully, you haven't died from cuteness because it's time to meet one more of this year's starters. They're all so adorable, so I had a hard time picking out a favorite. But I finally settled on this Collie/Corgi mix named Tigger. Look at his sad little eyes. It's like he's begging me to adopt him. I want to! Where do I sign up? How much is a one-way ticket to Cuddletown for him and me? OMGHEISTHECUTESTDAMNTHINGI'VEEVERSEEEEEENNNN!!!!!

You can't even imagine the high-pitched sounds that are coming from my body right now. And it's only going to get worse at game time. (Sorry, roommates.)

For more adorableness, check out Animal Planet's official Puppy Bowl site, and then don't forget to tune in to Animal Planet at 3:00 for all the puppy action!

For a little taste of what you can expect, check out this highlight from Puppy Bowl IV, which features Jackson the Westie doing his best Jerry Rice impression. The stupid YouTubes won't let me embed the vid, so just click on the picture below to see this precious pup in action. OMGILOVEHIMSOMUCHICAN'TBREAAATHEEEE!!!!

I think you have a typo in there. I'm certain you were touting the "Lingerie Bowl" but you spelled it "Puppy Bowl".

It IS about to get girly up in here. ;-)

You can never go wrong with cute dogs. I am glad Pedigree switched over from the "Make-Me-Feel-Like-Shit campaign":

Tristan hopes you still love him even though he's never been in the puppy bowl.

I watched and loved all these adorable little guys. Chamomile was my favorite. She's so feisty!an
Based strictly on the pictures, Toby is my favorite. However, with such a wiener name, the other pups will gang up on him and I suspect he did very poorly in the game. Bandit, Garbanzo, Sir Winston and Tater Tot are much more awesome names.

As for the video, I think I need Abigail on my fantasy team. She's a beast.

I wonder who narrated this year since Harry Kalas is dead :(

I was flipping channels when I came across this. I called my 14 year old niece in and we 'ohhed' and 'awwed' til the game commercials were over.
