Forgotten Classic Video of the Week

Giving y'all the video of the week, Thanksgivin' style!

Another thing I'm thankful for this year is YouTube. It's helped me rediscover videos that have slipped through the cracks in my mind, satisfied my craving for the ones I can't get enough of, and introduced me to some that I didn't even know existed. Case in point - the following offering from John Hiatt. This is the video for his very seasonally-appropriate song, and one of my personal favorites, "Thank You Girl," from 1987's brilliantly groovy Bring the Family. Hiatt is one of those great artists I mentioned in my last post, who has blessed the world with an incredible catalog of work. If you're not acquainted with his music, do yourself a favor and check him out. If you want a good starter record, I'd suggest Slow Turning if you're a little bit country, and Perfectly Good Guitar if you're just a little bit more rock 'n roll.
