In a World Where Movie Trailers Are Now Less Exciting...

Don LaFontaine, the master of the raspy voice-overs, died on Monday.

Here's an interesting clip about Don's career that includes a funny bit about him actually complying with random fans' requests to record their voicemail messages.

How would he voice-over his own death?

Hey, that would be awesome if he already did somehow!

Aw man. That was a dude who just had to talk and the ladies' panties fell off. RIP smooth trailer guy.

I have posted a small tribute as well....I am saddened by this news.

We actually posted about the same thing....what are the chances?
"In a world where Don LaFontaine no longer does trailer voiceovers...ONE man must step up. That man is...THE VOICENATOR!"

This was very sad to hear. Although most of us didn't know his name, we knew his voice which was a legend in movie trailers. May he *R.I.P*!

One unfortunate and terrible loss, yet there is still hope because...

In a world of celebrity asshats and total asshat-ery, only one woman dares to stand up to them and keep a constant, yet valiant vigil! She is..."The Pop Eye!" Rated NC-17 for extremem violence and Paris Hilton exploits.
