This Just In: Kanye West Humbled, But Still An Asshole

If you're anything like me, this week's episode of South Park still has you laughing...and craving fish sticks. 'Cause we're gay like that.

I guess Kanye finally realized that what doesn't kill him makes him stronger, and responded in a surprisingly good-natured way:

“SOUTH PARK MURDERED ME LAST NIGHT AND IT’S PRETTY FUNNY. IT HURTS MY FEELINGS BUT WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM SOUTH PARK! I ACTUALLY HAVE BEEN WORKING ON MY EGO THOUGH. HAVING THE CRAZY EGO IS PLAYED OUT AT THIS POINT IN MY LIFE AND CAREER. I USE TO USE IT TO BUILD UP MY ESTEEM WHEN NOBODY BELIEVED IN ME. NOW THAT PEOPLE DO BELIEVE AND SUPPORT MY MUSIC AND PRODUCTS THE BEST RESPONSE IS THANK YOU INSTEAD OF “I TOLD YOU SO!!!” IT’S COOL TO TALK SHIT WHEN YOU’RE RAPPING BUT NOT IN REAL LIFE. WHEN YOU MEET LITTLE WAYNE IN PERSON HE’S THE NICEST GUY FOR EXAMPLE. I JUST WANNA BE A DOPER PERSON WHICH STARTS WITH ME NOT ALWAYS TELLING PEOPLE HOW DOPE I THINK I AM. I NEED TO JUST GET PAST MYSELF. DROP THE BRAVADO AND JUST MAKE DOPE PRODUCT. EVERYTHING IS NOT THAT SERIOUS. AS LONG AS PEOPLE THINK I ACT LIKE A BITCH THIS TYPE OF SHIT WILL HAPPEN TO ME. I GOT A LONG ROAD AHEAD OF ME TO MAKE PEOPLE BELIEVE I’M NOT ACTUALLY A HUGE DOUCHE BUT I’M UP FOR THE CHALLENGE. I’M SURE THE WRITERS AT SOUTH PARK ARE REALLY NICE PEOPLE IN REAL LIFE. THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO DRAW MY CREW. THAT WAS PRETTY FUNNY ALSO!! I’M SURE THERE’S GRAMMATICAL ERRORS IN THIS… THAT’S HOW YOU KNOW IT’S ME!”

Maybe one of these days, Kanye will learn how to be a doper typer, which starts with him turning off the CAPS lock.

For those of you who don't watch South Park, you should probably seek this episode out, because it's hilarious. Here is their parody of Kanye's "Heartless," aptly titled "Gay Fish."

Well as a fellow blogger you have to respect the guy for running his own blog, spelling mistakes included (I raise my hand, see the latest Caption Crotch-test Contest)

He updates his more than most, then again, if all you did was have sex with fish we would all update more often.

Now excuse me, i have a North Atlantic Salmon to attend to ...

Humbled but still an asshole. That is why though I may drift and wander, I will never leave this blog. Ever.

I watched the episode and all it did was remind me why I stopped watching years ago: the desire to kill Cartman is so overwhelming that I can't enjoy the rest of it. I'm not kidding.

I hope we can still be friends.
I'm pretty sure we get that episode tonight, being behind the times Canadians and all that. I sm practicing my gay fish singalong as we speak.

I haven't watched South Park in a while, and just happened to catch that episode, and laughed my ass off.

For a day or so afterward I'd think about it and chuckle, and then of course a few of us at work kept asking each other if we liked fish sticks...

But then, bless him, Kanye did his blog post:

"AS LONG AS PEOPLE THINK I ACT LIKE A BITCH THIS TYPE OF SHIT WILL HAPPEN TO ME. I GOT A LONG ROAD AHEAD OF ME TO MAKE PEOPLE BELIEVE I’M NOT ACTUALLY A HUGE DOUCHE BUT I’M UP FOR THE CHALLENGE."

This is one of the greatest celebrity quotes ever. Thank you Beckeye!

I was talking to my son about Coolio being a weenie about Weird Al's spoof of "Gangster's Paradise," "Amish Paradise." His getting angry about it is even funnier than the spoof.

Viacom has already pulled the South Park clip, so I didn't get to see it.
