Forgotten Classic Video of the Week

Today is my sister's birthday (the big 5-0), so I thought I'd post one of her faves, The Bay City Rollers. Since everyone remembers "Saturday Night," I'm treating you all to a lesser known gem, "Summerlove Sensation," a song that was on the charts when Toots was 15 and I was 1. (That bit of info isn't really important; I just needed to rub in our age difference.)

Please tell me that her name really is Toots, because that would rock!

I'm Tootsie to everyone that counts.
Thanks for broadcasting my age baby sister, are you gonna tell my weight next?

I can sweetly recall the Bay City Rollers of my "tween years" and the posters I ripped out of Tiger Beat magazine that adorned my bedroom walls. Good Times.

ps-Becks, my grandma was famous for saying, "I never tell ages or wages"

Happy birthday, Toots! You are just getting started on the good stuff, believe me.

Who Does This Broad Think She Is?

My photo
I am a winsome muse who was sent to Earth to inspire an artist to turn a vacant building into the world's coolest disco roller rink. We fell in love along the way, and I foolishly gave up my immortality. When the disco craze ended and all the roller rinks were shut down, that lazy bum wouldn't get a job. We broke up and I was stuck on Earth with nothing to do and no one to inspire. So, now I write a blog.
