Sonic Sunday: Chris-Mixx

Last week's Sonic Sunday was devoted to the short list of my personal favorite holiday songs, so this week I'm posting a bunch more tunes. There should be something for everyone here!

I originally planned on posting three weeks' worth of Christmas tunes but then realized that I need to squeeze in my Best of 2009 and Best of the Decade playlists before the year is up, so you're getting all the Christmas songs now. No need to wait until the 25th to open; tear into 'em now!

Dang Girl! I HAD a song picked out to do for 'Out of Tune Tuesday' but you just threw a wrench into that plan...

You're a lean, mean, MP3 posting machine. I stole a bunch of them, thanks man! :) Yes, one of them was "Last Christmas" despite the fact I routinely make fun of that song. Rock on!
That is one enormous list of songs madamoiselle and aren't you cute as a little biscuit?

I worked in retail for a long time so the constant in-store holiday music drove me a little batty and now I'm easily annoyed by it, but I love that Zoey Dechanel and Leon Redbone song.

I actually like to listen to that MC song even when it's not Christmas :)

That's a helluva list! Well done, you little Christmas imp.

I was particularly glad to see The Waitresses and the Pretenders on there. But you did forget the Long Blondes' Christmas is Cancelled. tsk tsk

Not so sure about the Mariah Carey one, though. :)

You forgot "My Christmas List" by Simple Plan, my theme song, minus the girl in my bed.
SERIOULSY? Best playlist ever. HIGH FIVE.
Excellent list! Hardly anyone ever brings up "Father Christmas" but it's one of my favorites. My obligatory "you forgot..." selection is the Pretenders' version of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas".
