An Open Letter to Christopher Walken

Dearest Chris,

I love you, man. Everyone does. You've been in some great movies. But for the love of cowbell, please learn how to say "no."

I deliver this message with the utmost respect so, um, please don't hurt me. That is all.

Love,
BeckEye

This made me lol for many reasons, one of them being I just watched a play in which Christopher Walken (not the real one of course) read to us from The Sausage Book.
He is someone who I thought would've made enough money not to take such ridiculous projects, but then my subconcious replays "and you...you are part cantelope" and I forgive him again.

BTW, it's posted, so come on over and get angry with me.

Okay, the movie looks really stupid, but Christopher Walken would get me to see it... Definitely in the Sunday-afternoon-nothing's-on-TV sense, but nonetheless...

I love him so much I'm willing to cut him endless slack.

And, no, I doubt if Britney can do better . . .

He's running for President!
If I could vote, I'd vote for him.

man, he and robin williams both. they can be so good! although to be fair, i think walken is good no matter what, just sometimes in bad movies. williams is sometimes just terrible while in terrible movies.

He should do a move on his SNL character "The Continental". That would be soooo funny.^_^

Have you considered managing his career?

Thank you on behalf of all his embarrassed fans.

My favorite Walken performance is as the mob boss in Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead... He has some great lines in that film.

I have no desire to see Balls of Fury.

Oh come ON, how could could you miss with a concept like this one?

I just saw the trailer for this earlier and his part looked the funniest of all.

On the IMDB link one of the message board entries is titled:

"Why aren't there more people complaining about this movie being retarded"

Heh!

I like his outfit in the trailer though.

Walken is such a good actor, it is a shame when he's in a string of bad movies.

Then again, maybe he just likes to have fun while he works. You know, avoiding the angst of the hard-hitting emotional roles. Actors can be quite delicate creatures.

He has to find a way to pay the bill for whatever it is that he did to his face.
Poor George and I LOVED this movie! Ok, so we have an inside view of Chinese and ping-pong (PG is a champ and played it in the Gay Olympics!)

On another note, how ugly do you think Christopher is? People say he's a dog, but I don't think he's so bad. In a quirky kind of way.
