American Idol 7 Results: 2/21/08

First results show of the season, and I'm 3 for 4 already. I was right about the two girls - Amy and Joanne were sent packing. I also correctly guessed that Garrett got the boot, but I was genuinely surprised to see Colton go. It should've been Luke Menard, as I predicted, or that smart-ass, Chikezie. I guess that the swashbuckling crooner, Orluko Bloomard, ended up with a bigger percentage of the all-important tween vote.

Yeah, Orluko Bloomard isn't as funny as Chrustin Richardslake. I'm afraid nothing ever will be.

I was a little surprised by Colton, but I did figure out why he was smiling during that song. I think he thought he was singing Suspicious Mimes.

I was SO glad to see Garrett go. That performance of his was horrid. Even last night I found myself wanting to fast-forward through his farewell replay. Make. It. Stop.

What a swoonable bunch of guys this year, topped by Jason Castro and Michael Johns. YUM.

I was shocked that the pumpkin-hued Chacuzzi didn't get the boot. He deserved it more than Colton.

I know this is evil of me, but I'm glad to see Joanne go, because I was already sick of her describing how she was "a plus size model", like we were supposed to feel sorry for her....y'know what? a lot of people are plus-size without even being models......
