Happy Belated Birthday, Mr. McGregor

American Idol madness made me forget that it was Ewan McGregor's birthday on March 31. I hope he had a good one, full of manly activities like riding his motorcycle and drinking beer. I'm sure he exposed his penis to someone at some point because, well, that seems to be his favorite thing to do.

His new movie, Angels & Demons, comes out in May and I still haven't decided if I want to see it. I saw The DaVinci Code and, although I didn't think it was as bad as a lot of reviewers did, it was a little on the boring side. But I could never be bored when Ewan is on the screen. And he might show his penis. He is playing a Catholic priest, after all.

Since I'm not Catholic, I don't think seeing sexy Ewan in a priest's robe will cause me any shame or discomfort. And I doubt anyone in any role could cause me as much moral distress as Jeremy Sisto did when he played Jesus. I needed a cold shower, a psychiatrist, and an exorcist after seeing that.

I don't know, I can never quite get the image of him in that Trainspotting toilet out of my head. He is forever tainted. I would like to sit through the entire showing of Moulin Rouge at some point, though.
Now look what you've done! I am not going to be able to shake the image of Ewen in a priest's robe, possibly showing his penis, out of my head. In fact, I think I need to go lie down for a little bit.

He totally made up for everything before and after via his performance in Moulin Rouge.

Jeremy Sisto as Jesus?! Jesus Christ! That's horrible. Moulin Rouge is a must see although the first 15 minutes is a crazy mess.

I feel so ashamed I missed the opportunity to think about Ewan on his bday. I was discussing with a friend that Ewan is the perfect candidate to be the last man on Earth who must repopulate the species. I think I need to blog about it.

Jeremy played Jesus? Wow what a cast in that flick though huh? Debra Messing as Mary? Oye.

Speaking of Jesus, I have a confession to make. I watched "Twilight" last night and I liked it.

Mais oui, the robe only makes us wonder what is under it? hmmm?

And speaking of priest-fancying - do you recall the Thornbirds?

Now I have to spend the rest of the day doing a bad impersonation of Ewan McGregor impersonating Sean Connery as James Bond.

When he whips his penis out, does he wield the green or the blue?
