Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead (or Lost)

#1 - Try out for American Idol.

So, yeah...I was home last night and didn't even bother to watch AI's Denver auditions. The TV was on, but I was in the other room, only half listening. I just happened to catch the hilarious (and by putting "hilarious" in italics, I assume you all realize I mean "completely scripted and not at all funny") last auditioner, Bikini Boy, which was more than enough.

Next week starts the Hollywood Round, so I should be back into the swing of things by then. As long as they don't do something stupid like in Season 7 (or, as it's known on the Beckese calendar, The Year of the Aussie Hottie), when they got rid of group day.

Oh, and I didn't watch Lost last night either, because I haven't seen one single episode yet and I keep procrastinating about watching all the season DVDs. I really want to; it just seems like it's going to take forever. But it's really amazing that, for how popular that show is, I've stumbled upon exactly ZERO spoilers. Or maybe I have, but because the show is so bizarre and complicated, I wouldn't know a spoiler if I fell down a hatch and landed on one.

The Smoke Monster sez...
"Don't forget to enter this month's caption contest. Remember, where there's smoke, there's a crotch-fire!"

Yeah. I bet you wouldn't recognize a spoiler if it transfigured into the smoke monster and kicked your ass.

Red, what do you mean? Are you saying the smoke monster has feet? It can kick? Why are you trying to ruin this show for me?

I watched LOST, because I'm cooler than those AI fans.

I watched LOST, because I have you out here for AI updates.

I didn't watch either... either. There has to be a better way to say that. I used to watch Lost but it was exhausting. If you're gonna do it, DVD is the way to go.

I haven't seen a single episode of Lost. I'm planning on starting once this season is over and the whole thing is out on DVD. I just can't be doing with this "waiting 6 years to find out what happened" malarkey!
I watched The Worst Cooks In America and Kitchen Nightmares and then I went to bed at 10 because I'm sick. I don't think I've been in bed at 10 in years.

I watched the first handful of episodes of "Lost", but gave up after getting several episodes behind. I plan on cramming 5+ seasons into the next few months so I can watch the series finale and have it make sense (at least I hope it will).
I think Lost and Heroes should duke it out for convoluted plot supremacy.
Is there something called The Smoke Monster on that show? That's what they called me at the dorm in college.

Keep us posted dear because Flannery is going nuts without cable. You may be her only life line.
