Well, it's 2011...

...where's my damn jetpack?

Technological letdowns aside, I hope everyone has a great new year! Since I've got nothing new for you yet, here are links to all of my year-end posts, in case you missed any. If you didn't get to the Best Singles/Best Albums posts, read those immediately because 2010 was a great year for music (and my taste is impeccable). Hopefully, 2011 will follow suit instead of being a giant suck-fest. But with new albums by Duran Duran, Radiohead, The Duke Spirit, The Wombats, Beck and My Morning Jacket (among others), along with the 700 projects that Damon Albarn's working on, I can't imagine how this year could be musically sub-par.

I'm just happy to start the new year off with a day off - hooray! It makes the dread about going back tomorrow that much more delicious. Shall I list the levels of dread I feel?

You are one of the few bloggers I know who shares my disappointment at not having a jet pack... you go, girl. We'll get there one day... or maybe not. Darn, Newton's Laws!

Whatever. Here's to another worthy year of blogation.

A jet pack would make my life a WHOLE lot easier! I'd have to land on my butt though...butt there's a lot of it to land on!

The weirdest part is that The Rocketeer had a jet pack way back in the 30s and nobody has ever bothered to revisit that clearly awesome technology. Makes no sense.
My level of disappointment at our lack of Jetsons' lifestyle is boundless. We were lied to! Good thing we have lists to placate us.
